Used 80mm Nexstar and Canon XT with LPR Filter to enhance the Red Spectrum

Redo mount

Had to renew  EQ North  wood window mount Did a drift Align on the Sun with good results
Removed the Sun filter and did a goto to Venus at 2 pm and with mt HA filter imaged Venus (above)

Imaged M57 Ring Nebula last night with my old Sac8 CCD  still works good

Set up the 8GPS on the driveway   Alt AZ and did some test images with the Rebel XT

No guiding and all under 30 seconds

Only 2 images tonight..Sky was the best for a while

Heres the bracket Ray Not fancy but works

M8 and M20 with Guiding..We had a half moon so longer exposures out of the question

June 14th Imaging

Had all the gear working except the autoguiding so tried some small exposures on the southern sky
Here are the results ..taken with the Nexstar 80 mm and the Canon rebel XT

Not the best...almost like you see them with a good telescope
